Empresa: ABU DHABI TOURISM AUTHORITY

Visitors to the first Abu Dhabi destination pavilion to be mounted at a FITUR event will have the chance to learn more about some of the distinction culture of the emirate, which is the largest of the seven which make up the United Arab Emirates.
A photographic backdrop of an Emirati leading a camel across the desert will be the setting for visitors to pose, in UAE national dress – the dishdasha, long flowing robe of the men and the black abaya (long over garment) and sheyla (black headdress) of the women.
The complimentary photo-shoot will see visitors leave with an unusual memento of their time on the Abu Dhabi stand where the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, which last year was named the World’s Leading Tourism Board in the 2009 World Travel Awards, and a number of its stakeholders, will be out to show why Lonely Planet and Frommer’s have tipped Abu Dhabi as a Top Ten destination to visit in 2010.
