The Organisation has also met one of its other objectives: to attract exhibitors to the trade fair from areas not represented at the first meeting. Among the new participants are Castile and Leon, Navarre and the Basque Country, with a large number of companies from these territories already registered to take part, together with a substantial number of firms from the Valencia Region.
The increased representation of Spanish regions is giving the second edition of the trade fair greater weight in the national fruit and vegetable area, and is also seeing a slightly greater impact on the international market with participation by exhibitors from countries such as Argentina, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Portugal, among others.
THE AUXILLIARY INDUSTRY AT THE EXHIBITION
FRUIT ATTRACTION is also proving to be very important to the suppliers of goods and services sector. Levels of participation are up in comparison to the 2009 meeting, with important firms in the international area such as Bayer and Syngenta coming on board.
The excellent response to FRUIT ATTRACTION by the trade is evidence of the desire of Spain's fruit and vegetable industry's to support this trade and promotional platform. The high levels of participation achieved to date show that the business sector has identified the differential advantages of the method of participation offered by the trade fair, making the products and business meetings the most important factors of the event.
