1. Please, give us a brief description of your company

Nemetschek España is the Spanish subsidiary of the German multinational company, Nemetschek AG, a leading operator within the building industry software market. We are the company that developed "Allplan", the 3D CAD programme that is very widely used by architects and engineers all over Europe. This programme covers all stages of the project and construction process, ranging from the initial design and development of the execution project to the construction stage itself, quality control and management of the buildings that are constructed.

Having been distributed in Spain since 1995, our software is linked to all the most important companies within the industry, such as Cype, Soft and Arktec, with which we have collaboration agreements at an international level.

2. Why are you taking part at CONSTRUTEC?

CONSTRUTEC has become the most important fair in Spain for us. It offers us the opportunity to stage live demonstrations of our software to a large number of visitors, professionals whom it would be otherwise very costly and difficult to bring together. The fair provides an excellent showcase at which to present our company and our products to professionals and companies from the building industry, among whom we are not so well known as among architects, our main customers.

3. What main objectives will you be pursuing through your attendance at the fair?

For Nemetschek, the main purpose of taking part at the fair is to show the largest number of professionals and companies all the possibilities that our software entails, whilst also generating new trade contacts. Of course, we will also present our new features at the fair, especially at this edition, where we shall have the opportunity to launch a new version of our star programme, "Allplan 2011".

Participating at the fair is important to us with regard to the company's image. However, above all, it is the financial results that we derive from the fair that ensures our attendance. Today, CONSTRUTEC is the most profitable of all the events our company attends in Spain.

4. What do you consider to be the most positive aspects of the fair?

CONSTRUTEC surprises visitors with its sizeable exhibition of the best building solutions, the most modern materials and components and the most advanced technology within the industry. The fair always presents some important new feature, together with many other interesting aspects, both of which justify a visit to this event.

From an exhibitor's point of view, it is important to form part of this exhibition and this grand showcase for the industry. However, above all, CONSTRUTEC welcomes a considerable number of visitors and, most important of all, visitors of a high professional profile. This is, perhaps, the most positive aspect of the fair in our opinion.

5. How can a fair such as CONSTRUTEC help with your company's marketing strategies?

The main objective of our marketing strategy is to ensure that Nemetschek products achieve the same level of promotion and awareness as in the rest of Europe, where our company is very well known and enjoys considerable prestige. CONSTRUTEC undoubtedly fits in perfectly with this marketing approach. Over a period of just a few days, we are able to make contact with thousands of professionals.

6. Do you consider the facilities at Feria de Madrid and the capital of Spain itself to be the most appropriate venues for a fair featuring the characteristics of CONSTRUTEC?

A large number of our clients and customers are located in Madrid, with the Madrid Region being our principal market. Nevertheless, Madrid's geographical situation favours the attendance of visitors from all over Spain and, in fact, for us CONTRUTEC is the building industry fair that features the highest percentage of visitors from other parts of Spain. Although this event attracts the largest number of visitors from our main market, Madrid, it is also the least local of all the fairs we attend. As far as the fairground's facilities are concerned, these are, quite simply, excellent. The exhibition centre is very well connected to the city centre and the airport and is extremely convenient for both visitors and exhibitors.

7. How would you rate IFEMA in its capacity as the body that organises the fair?

IFEMA is synonymous with the ideas of professionalism, rigorousness and maximum guarantees. Furthermore, it has been able to anticipate and adapt very well to the changes that have taken place both in this industry and in other sectors, always based on the goal of providing higher quality services and a greater degree of competitiveness. In my opinion, this sense of flexibility is especially important at a body such as IFEMA.
