INTERGIFT, styles to be explored

The wide-raging exhibition at INTERGIFT will revolve around seven sections, all of which have their own identity and offer visitors a convenient means of locating the products and exhibitors that interest them. On the one hand, we shall come across an entire range of home decoration ideas, all of which will be located on the even-numbered side of the exhibition centre: Textile, Hall 2; Atmósfera ("Ambience"), Halls 4 and 6; Decorative Items and Mesa Viva ("The Living Table"), Hall 8. On the other hand, the odd-numbered side will present an extensive selection of unique items, unusual gifts, toys, gadgets .... located in the halls housing the following sections: "Fantasy", in Halls 1, 3 and 5; "Travel Items and Leather Goods", in Hall 5; and "Miscellaneous Gifts" in Hall 9, which will bring together thousands of items featuring an excellent quality-price ratio and a great sense of opportunity.

Through the participation of the leading manufacturers, designers and international brands from the industry, INTERGIFT will become a grand fashion forum that features all of the latest lines that are destined to set the trend in home furnishings for next Autumn-Winter 2010-11. According to the previews offered by some of the companies that will be taking part at the fair's next edition, our homes must be, above all, cosy. Although decoration today does not revolve strictly around certain fixed styles, being absolutely free in this respect, contemporary trends tend to play around with shared characteristics that lean towards aspects such as versatility and à la carte design, making the very most of the space and light available. As far as colours are concerned, these will be sober and mild, including earthy shades, smoky grey, stone, mink ... always based on a sense of chromatic unity. Furthermore, the materials will be natural, such as warm, clean and untreated wood combined with iron or other metals, not to mention leather and tribal handcrafted details in practically all decorative products.

ARCHI a new section for promoting trends at BISUTEX

The latest trends in fashion jewellery and accessories will once again attract the attention of fashion stylists, designers and opinion-leaders during the staging of BISUTEX. This grand event will bring together in Hall 7 of FERIA DE MADRID the products and services of more than 350 companies in order to become one of the most important fashion showcases on the European scene. On this occasion, the fair's exhibition will focus on the collections for next Autumn-Winter 2010/2011 Season, during which an oversized trend and an entire repertoire of audacious designs will continue to reign supreme, based on a combination of different textures and different effects created through the use of colour. Everything goes for the winter season, which will bring us unusual contrasts and a profusion of styles designed to suit every taste, ranging from urban lines to the most romantic ideas, not to mention nature-based themes, a pure vintage appeal and Oriental sources of inspiration.

As a new feature and with the aim of highlighting the fashion concept that is implicit within the exhibition presented at this fair, this year BISUTEX incorporates the section known as ARCHI, an area for promoting trends within the high-category segment, featuring the new ideas of a number of leading fashion brands. ARCHI will be located in the central area of Hall 7and will introduce a new fair section that boasts its own special ambience within the exhibition as a whole. This area will feature the participation of companies of the stature of Kenzo, Paul & Joe, Ted Lapidus, Hannibal Laguna, Sara Navarro, Vicky Martín Berrocal, Dominique Guinabert, Konplott ... among others, who will present the very latest in design, colours, materials, etc., through the presentation of their most select fashion jewellery and accessory collections.

IBERJOYA: An Exhibition That Speaks the Language of Fashion

A number of leading Spanish designers, manufacturers and companies, together with numerous brands of worldwide renown, will come together once again at IBERJOYA in order to offer professionals the most comprehensive showcase of new features and fashion trends within the different sectors that make up the fair. The products and services on show will include everything ranging from exclusive jewellery creations, consumer jewellery and timepieces in their different forms (jewel-watches, sports watches, chronographs ...) to silverware and an entire series of solutions and services from the related industries sector.

The participating companies have already provided a preview of some of the trends that will appear at the exhibition, including luxurious and sophisticated lines that clearly contrast with other more daring designs, such as those inspired by the punk era. Precious stones in vivid colours, together with sensual and playful white pearls, will form part of both cutting-edge creations and Baroque designs, not to mention a series of more austere creations. Crosses, flowers and insect motifs will add their appeal to many of these new collections.

Women's watches will focus strongly on pieces of classic design, with special prominence being granted to the models made of platinum, white gold and diamonds, as well as models that adorn the wrist with yellow gold. The coolest designs for next season will consist of versions that incorporate precious stones in vivid colours, featuring the most varied geometrical shapes.
Under the heading of men's time-pieces, two trends will predominate: traditional designs aimed at purists, featuring maximum refinement in terms of leather straps (crocodile skin, caiman and natural leather) and faces set in gold cases; and sports watches designed to create an adventurous appeal, perfect for scuba-diving, water-sports, etc. These pieces offer multiple functions and possess sophisticated mechanisms.

Neither must we forget to mention the traditional silverware sector, which will offer visitors an extensive range of decorative and commemorative items in silver. The fair will also present the products and services of related industries, based on a series of solutions that are the result of the research and development carried out by companies in order to boost production and enhance product presentation and commercial management.
All of this will be presented within a setting designed to favour trade relations and the exchange of information, a forum where visitors can discover the widest selection of jewellery items and sample the products themselves with the highest security guarantees.
