Visitors to EXPOOPTICA, which takes place in the North Convention Centre at the IFEMA trade fair site from 17 to 19 February, will have a chance to discover the latest trends and products in the sector and also attend the talks at Business OPTOM for free. These training sessions are designed to give trade professionals the keys to developing their business and achieving results. The International Salon of Dental Equipment, Products and Services, EXPODENTAL, organised by IFEMA and promoted by the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies (FENIN), for its 2012 edition has created Speakers’ Corners, which from 23 to 25 February will bring together the latest breakthrough products of some of the companies exhibiting at the Fair. The Speakers’ Corners, one in hall 7 and the other in hall 9, will be a stage where visitors can learn about the latest advances developed by these companies, and where issues of current interest for the sector will be outlined. There will be presentations of the latest developments in techniques, products and equipment to optimise the work of dental professionals. This initiative gives the Fair another space for promotion and for disseminating information for professionals, and a platform complementing the commercial activity of the Fair.
The Speakers’ Corners will be open 10:30-13:30 in the mornings and 16:00-18:00 in the afternoons. Each exhibitor will have 35 minutes to show their new products to an audience of about 40 people.

FRUIT ATTRACTION, the International Trade Show for the Fruit and Vegetable Industry organised by IFEMA and FEPEX and now in its fourth incarnation, will once again visit the Fruit Logistica fair in Berlin between 8 -10 February to promote this year's event. The thirty-second edition of the International Tourism Trade Fair, FITUR 2012, finally closed its doors after confirming its role as a key meeting-point and business forum for the most professional tourist industry. In spite of the current economic climate, the travel industry witnessed worldwide growth of more than 4% in 2011, which highlights the important role that tourism plays as an engine for economic growth in many countries. FITUR once again sought to serve as a key forum for fostering synergies among professionals, adapting to the current situation and to demands within the sector. The fair's endeavours to renew its appeal by creating new initiatives to promote exchange amongst professionals made up an aspect that was highlighted by the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organisation, Taleb Rifai, during his welcome address at the fair: "FITUR is an extraordinary meeting-point and a tourist trade fair that has been capable of following the market and enhancing its competitive appeal. PROPET creates an Area for specialist SHOPS
The Fair for Pet Professionals, PROPET 2012, will devote a special area – THE IDEAL WINDOW DISPLAY - for manufacturers and distributors of accessories for pets to show retailers how to set up the ideal display in a shop window, and help them sell more products. For this an area of Pavilion 9 at Feria de Madrid will be used from 9 to 11 March, the dates of PROPET, the leading professional fair in the sector.
